I feel it would be a nice touch if enemies straight up went "Fuck this I'm out of here!" Just by you strolling up in your armor. Makes you feel like that much more of a fortress. Perhaps adding custom weapons just for Power Armor, like shoulder cannons that are directly controlled or function like mounted turrets to aid in combat.
Being able to place a Deathclaw skull on your shoulder or Deathclaw horns on your helmet seems decent enough, or mounting the skulls and bones of your enemies your slain enemies for all to see. Adding some extra decoration to the armor would be a nice start.
